Overview of outages of services that are provided by ACTIVE 24. You can learn here about planned maintenance of our systems or about unplanned outages that we couldn´t inform you about.

We do minor maintenance every Wednesday from 11 pm to 6 am.
During this period few minute outage can occur because of a restart of a server.

This website is a way to inform our customers about an unplanned outage of services or if there is a high probability planned maintenance that will cause some of our standard information channels won’t be available – especially Customer center or customer support as a whole.

Monday's DDoS attacks on our services

On Monday 4.3.2013. From 08:30 to 09:00 we faced extensive distributed DoS attacks against our customers ' websites. This led to the overloading of the main firewall and due to this there was an unavailability of part of the services and our customer support. We have immediately taken appropriate countermeasures against attacks. At the moment, the situation is stabilized and the services provided are again available in the usual quality.

Modifying the Edge router configuration

On 16. 2. 2013 the configuration (NetFlow-IPv6) of the main edge router (network Element) in the primary data center will be done from 00:00 to 02:00. Planned restart of SAN switch

On 11.1.2013 from 00:00 to 02:00, a reboot will be possible to replace the SAN switch (network Element) in the primary data center within the data storage network. Test the functionality of our new border routers

On 10. 1. 2013 from 00:00-02:00 we will preventively test the redundant involvement of our new frontier routers. We perform the Test by actually disconnecting the primary router to see if the traffic is properly redirected to the secondary router after further optimizations. The tests are related to the exchange of our edge network elements, upgrade our data center connection to 10 Gbps and increase the throughput of our internal backbone network to 2×10 Gbps. Everything is done in order to prepare our network infrastructure to grow data traffic in the future and increase its resilience to DoS attacks. This service window can be used to predict very short downtime of availability of our services, but they should not exceed 10 minutes in total. Short-term interruption of customer service

Due to the ending support of the operating system on the server, which ensures the functionality of our Customer centre (https://centrum.active24.cz), we will perform on 25. 10. 2012 from 07:00 to 07:30 to upgrade to the current version. This will result in a short interruption in the operation of the customer centre, which should not exceed 15 minutes. Specifically, the outage will be manifested by the impossibility to login to the customer center-ie. You will not be able to administer the services, clicking on the link in the invitation email will not make an online payment and limited functionality would also have validation links in the email to change the customer/payer or the domain holder. Increasing the connection speed of our primary data center…

At the same time, we also finish increasing our internal backbone network throughput to 2×10 Gbps. Replacing the main edge router in the primary data…

Dear customers, we would inform you that on 5. 9. 2012 The main edge router (network Element) in the primary data center will be replaced by a new one from 1:00 to 5:00.
